About Our District
Long Hill Township School District serves the students and families of Gillette, Homestead Park, Meyersville, Millington, and Stirling. Our learning community is focused on deepening student understanding through inquiry-based strategies, personalized learning, and creative problem solving. Our talented teachers and dedicated staff cultivate relationships with our students and instill a sense of belonging in our schools. Students are encouraged to embrace challenges, take risks, and learn from real-world experiences. Our 1:1 technology and STEAM programs complement experiential learning in academic and co-curricular activities. Students learn to lead and collaborate through athletics, academic competitions, student council, service clubs, and performing arts programs. The student enrollment is approximately 865. Long Hill Township is a sending district of Watchung Hills Regional High School.
Community
Our district is located in Morris County, just 30 miles from New York City. The schools enjoy strong support from parents and local organizations, such as the Long Hill PTO and the Long Hill Education Foundation (LHEF).
