  • The PTO Cultural Arts Committee is looking for new members!

    by

The PTO dedicates a significant portion of its budget to this committee. The money is used to present a wide variety of entertaining and enriching programs for the children at each school.  Programs in the past have covered the areas of science, literature, music, theatre, and character education.  Committee members meet several times throughout the year to select the assemblies and residencies.  Members may also attend showcases (short previews of several shows performed at one location), go to various schools to preview possible programs, and investigate any teacher recommendations based on performances that they have seen. The committee is in the process of planning for next year and invites new parents to get involved.  For more information, contact Sue Gully smgully@yahoo.com
