Brief Bio:

2011-2012

This marks my seventh year in the Long Hill Township school district.  This it is my first opportunity to teach at Central Middle School. I have over 22 years experience in special education as both a teacher and classroom paraprofessional.  Along with the general education teachers I will be building a program designed to meet the requirements of students that fall under my umbrella of eduactional needs.  My goal is to provide them with instruction and opportunities to practice independence, social and thinking skills beyond the typical classroom.  I will continue to work on all aspects of education in the classroom including reading with a phonics based program, independent math programs, social studies, science and social skills that will enable students to be successful beyond the classroom.

Expectations:

 All students are gifted, some just open their presents later than others.

I expect everyone to simply try their best. 

Homework:

       Please read to your children everyday.

Homework will be assigned to support and practice skills.  If there is a problem please just write me a note and I will review the task in the morning.
