STUDENT COUNCIL will meet today in Room 11 until 3:15 PM. –Mr. Salzer
The first meeting of the STOCK MARKET FORCE class with Mr. Gillespie will begin tomorrow after school.
The BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION “SNOW BALL FIGHT” continues. The class with the most snow balls wins a bagel party. Bring in as many box tops as you can through February 15th!
8th GRADERS: Please remember to fill out the Grade Nine Data Registration Form. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you fill it out with your parents and return it to Mrs. Molendyke no later than Tuesday, February 7th.
8th GRADERS: A reminder that there will be a PARENTS ONLY meeting at Watchung Hills Regional High School tomorrow evening to meet with all the department heads. The meeting will begin at 7:00 PM.
The BOYS BASKETBALL TEAM will play in the quarter finals TODAY at Central School.
The GIRLS BASKETBALL QUARTER FINALS will be played tomorrow at Central school.
Our GENERAL KNOWLEDGE TEAM will be competing tomorrow at Newark Academy. Good Luck Central!
There will be a SCHOOL DANCE Friday evening from 7:00 – 9:30 pm. Tickets will be sold during lunch for $5.
Attention 7/8 grade CHOIR: Rehearsal on Thursday, Feb. 9, is CANCELLED!
Attention JAZZ ENSEMBLE: Friday’s rehearsal is rescheduled for Thursday, Feb. 9.

- WILLY WONKA: The first two days of set construction and scenery have been planned. They are set for: Thursday, February 16th from 9am-3pm and Friday, February 17th from 9am-3pm. These are obviously dates when there is no school, but the stage will be free and we’ll have a nice chunk of time to work. Students should meet in the All Purpose Room and please wear clothes that can get ruined. Scenery people, please bring a paintbrush.
IF YOUR CHILD STAYS AFTER SCHOOL FOR SPORTS AND/OR OTHER ACTIVITIES, PLEASE PACK A DRINK AND/OR SNACK FOR THEM TO ENJOY AT THAT TIME. Thank you.

RECYCLE YOUR OLD INK AND/OR COPIER CARTRIDGES! Bring empties to Central School and place them in our recycle bin located next to the Main Office. CMS receives $$$ which then helps to offset costs of various activities. Help the environment and your children’s school.
COKE REWARDS program: Send in the bottle caps or code flaps from 12 packs of Coke products (CoKe, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Sprite, Sprite Zero, Minute Maid Products, Dasani Water, Fresca, Vault, Powerade, Franta, Barq’s, Mr. Pibb and Mello Yello). The caps and codes are redeemed for supplies for the schools. Collection receptacles are located in the Main Office. Thank you for your support.
