Welcome, everyone! My current teaching assignments are:
OCR Mathematics for Grades 2, 3, and 4, Grade 3 OCR Reading and Language Arts,
Grade 5 in-class support with Mr. Freyre for Social Studies and Mr. Golub for
Science. As always, I look forward to a year filled with enthusiastic learning for all.
Brief Bio: I received my teaching degree in both elementary education and special education
from Seton Hall University. I started my career as a resource center teacher for students in
Grades 2 through 5. In addition to having also taught young children with disabilities from the
early intervention level through kindergarten, I now have come full circle back to resource center.
Contact Information: During the school year, please feel free to reach me at Millington School
at 908-647-2312, x 2011. You can also e-mail me at dragno 'at' longhill.org. I will do my best
to get back to you that same day.
Expectations: All students are expected to arrive in class each day prepared to learn with
the proper materials and any assigned homework. Of course, should there be special
circumstances at any given time, please feel free to let me know:)
Daily Communication: Please check your child's assignment pad daily. My students will copy
their homework into the appropriate subject block, which I will initial also, to assist in
developing good study skills and organizational habits.

Homework:
Dear Parents:
For students in all grade levels, I would ask that either you, or another adult,
please oversee your child's completion of his or her homework each day.
Once your child has grasped the concept, then intermittent monitoring should
be sufficient. This will help your child to receive continued reinforcement of the
concepts taught in class, as well as encouraging their independence once they
have reached a level of confidence in their work.
As always, thank you for your support.
**Please note that all test dates are subject to change. Advance notice will be
