Welcome !
I have taught in the Long Hill School District for the past 16 years in a variety of classroom settings. I hold a B.S. in Special Education from The Pennsylvania State University and a M.A.T. in General Education from Marygrove College. Additionally, I have completed over 30 supplimental credit hours in various education related subject areas. Finally, I hold New Jersey State Teaching Licenses in both General Education and Special Education. I hope you are as excited as I am to get the 2011-2012 school year off to a great start!

Writing Focus
Speculative / Narrative
Narrative Writing tells a personal or fictional experience or tells a story based on a real or imagined event.
Speculative writing tasks will present students with a briefly described situation to which they are asked to respond with a narrative. The given situation will provide students with information that may be used as a springboard for a student to write a story, actual or fictional. Speculative writing tasks require that students use their imagination to speculate about something.
