Mrs. Noelle Milito, Grade 4, Millington School

"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even heard, but must be felt with the heart." ~ Helen Keller

Welcome to Mrs. Milito's website.  This website will be used as a tool, to help keep students up to date on major assignments and upcoming events.  I hope it will prove to be a valuable tool for us to bridge the gap between home and school.  Please remember that this website is not to be viewed as a replacement for the homework assignment book.  The students still must take responsibility for writing down the assignment in their assignment book and bringing the proper books.  Please request to see the assignment book everyday to help promote organization and excellent study habits.

About Mrs. MilitoI have been teaching at Millington for 11 years.  I started out as a fifth grade teacher at Millington Elementary School and then I moved into the fourth grade.  I recently graduated from Kean University with a Master's in Special Education.  I will be raising the bar this year in order prepare your child for the future.  I am looking forward to working with your children throughout the school year.

D.I.R.T.:

D.I.R.T. is mandatory!  Students should read for 20 minutes every night.  They take out books from our library every Friday.  Our goal is to read at least 100 minutes a week.  Please keep track of any extra reading your child is participating in.  It could be their book report, internet reading, even news paper articles.  Happy Reading!

*D.I.R.T. is to be handed in with a parent signature every Tuesday!

Scholastic Book Orders:

I will send the scholastic book orders home every month except during the Book Fair months and the last month of school.  Please make sure if your child wants to order something, it is correctly filled out and the check is for the correct amount.  Also, no cash please.

Mission for the Class:

A positive, safe environment is always the best.  I believe that every student should have the opportunity to succeed and be challenged.  We all have our strengths and weaknesses and it is my job to show the students how to build on their strengths and improve on their weaknesses.
