Mrs. Priscilla Kehoe, Grade 2, Millington School

Brief Bio: I have a Masters Degree in Elementary Education.  For many years, I have worked in Long Hill Public Schools.    My husband and I have lived here for our entire marriage.

To reach me: Please use email or call extension *2046 to leave a message.

Daily Homework: There is a spelling assignment and a math page each Monday through Thursday.  Spelling words need to be learned for the test on Friday.  On short weeks, there will be no spelling test and there may be different homework.

For the week of February 6 our story is called, "A Froggy Fable".  We will discuss fables and use our writing workshop time to write one.  We are also giving book reports, which we read and wrote in class.

We have worked on dinosaur reports and had an interesting experiment on dinosaur teeth in the science learning center.

Everyone is excited to be subtracting two-digit numbers with regrouping (borrowing).  Some children know a short-cut method, but Mrs. Kehoe does not allow it to be used on homework or classwork.

Our Valentine's Day party will be on Tuesday, February 14.  Students may begin bringing in valentines (for the entire class, please) on Tuesday, February 7.
