Brief Bio:
This is my third year teaching First Grade at Gillette School. I student taught in First Grade and was then hired to teach Kindergarten for five years. I graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Elementary Education.

Homework:
Homework is assigned Monday - Thursday. It is given to teach responsibility as well as reinforce a concept being taught in the classroom. It is due back the next day in your child's folder. Please remember to help your child practice their spelling words and high frequency words every night!

High-Frequency Words: (week of 1/30/12) around, find, food, grow, under, water
* For extra practice, have your child place these words in alphabetical order.
* Keep practicing high frequency words with homework each night. I can tell who knows their words when we play our games! Keep up the good work!

* Please remember to provide utensils with your child's lunch and snack if they are needed.
