Ms. Lorraine Elg, Grade 1, Gillette School

 

Brief Bio: I have been teaching in Long Hill Township for 37 years.  During this time, I taught second, Kindergarten and currently I am in my fifth year teaching First Grade.  I am a recipient of the N.J. Governor's Recognition Award (Teacher of the Year).  I also received the Chadd Award of Morris County.  I was a member of the following committees:  Reading, Language Arts, Social Studies and Prejudice Reduction.

Expectations: Students are required to follow our classroom rules.  Homework folders are to be returned the following day. 


Daily Homework: Students have homework every night. Please review Word Bag Words and practice counting and simple addition facts.
