Brief Bio:

Hello! My name is Kristie Haag. This is my first year teaching at Gillette School and my third year working in the field of special education. I graduated from Kean University with a Bachelors Degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, and English. I am currently attaining a Master's Degree from the University of Massachusetts for Behavioral Intervention in Autism/Curriculum and Instruction: Autism Studies. I absolutely love what I do and look forward to a fun and productive school year!

Theme for the Week of 02/06-02/10: Valentine's Day and The Letter Oo

The activities are listed below for group time each day this week:

Monday (art group):Begin talking about words that begin with the letter Oo. We will color our Oo page to add to the alphabet books. We will read What Is Valentine's Day?

Tuesday (sensory group): Do the first part of our heart person. Today, we will use shaving cream, glue, and food coloring to make puffy paint. We will use this puffy paint to paint a heart.

Wednesday (music group): Play freeze dance.

Thursday: OT/Speech group in class with Miss Coletta and Mrs. Hoy.

Friday (art group): Shh ... it's a surprise! :) We will also finish our heart person today.

  

Important Dates:

*February 14th: Valentine's Day party

*February 15th: Celebration  the 100th day of school

*February 16th-20th: No school (President's Day)
